Quick Question

Imagine a world where all of our FEATURES are appreciated and celebrated?

about the book

Embrace Your Features

Embrace Your Features is a celebration of all the qualities that make us who we are, inside and out.

This colorful picture book encourages school-aged children to view their unique characteristics as what makes them special rather than flawed. Author and educator, Christina Testut, wants to inspire EVERYONE to feel worthy exactly as they are. In a world where human characteristics are often seen as imperfections, this book will motivate us all to see that our features make us unique, one-of-a-kind creatures!

What readers are saying

Embrace Your Features offers children (and the inner children of their grown-ups!) an essential introduction to what human features are. Christina Testut does a beautiful job neutrality describing the many ways human bodies can be put together and Ayan Mansoori's thoughtful illustrations allow all children to find themselves in the pages. As a body-image therapist and mother of three, I highly recommend this book for inclusion in any body-positive library.
